MALINDI, KENYAMalindi,
a midway point along Kenya's 450 km coastline. It is located at the mouth
of River Sabaki. Malindi is a major coastal town like Mombasa; however,
Mombasa's North and South Coast are more accessible to African
safaris and tours in Kenya. Malindi’s main attractions are its white
sandy beach, scuba diving, snorkeling, and fishing grounds away from the
crowds of Mombasa.
Malindi also welcomed the famous Vasco Da Gama on his
visits to the East
Africa coast of Kenya. The Malindi town is a mishmash of Swahili
style buildings. The Malindi
beach in Kenya are hugely visited by Italian and German guests. |
Snorkeling and scuba diving can be experienced at Malindi Marine National Park. To fill your time away from the beach in the Malindi & Watamu Bay, you have the option to visit the Arabuko Sokoke Forest and Gedi Ruins. The Arabuko Sokoke Forest is the largest surviving lowland forest in Kenya. Coral Key Beach Resort | Eden Roc Hotel | Driftwood Beach Club | Tropical Village Hotel | Woburn Residence Club |
